Biafra: Our Ancestral/Native Names Must Be Repristinated

■Author: Chinonso Igwebuike Mbah

■ 12, July 2020

The question to Christian Folks. Did Apostles Of Jesus Christ Change Their Name After Baptism? Why Is Pope Francis Not Answering Amadioha Kanu? The racist of baptizing Christian folks with western names is behind my control, so after baptizing one, you must choose a foreign name over his native name? Without advance of doubt, it got to prove that your heaven does not accommodate ancestral/local names, your heaven is a place of racist and tribalism.

It's highly provocative and unusually sadden that some Biafrans who claimed to be intellectually educated and wiser than their ancestors has abounded their ancestral/native names for meaningless western names, they stupidly and ignorantly claim our ancestral/native names are fetish whiles as every western name they bear are pagan and fetish just like ours.

To you misguided demented efulefus of Biafra extractions, our ancestral/native names has nothing to do with idolatry, most of our ancestral/native name's are exceptionally unique, it's a thing of shame that we Biafrans are not proud of our ancestral/native names, when are we going to stop all this nonsensical habit of coping western world, we answer western names, do western wedding, eat western food, drink western water, speak the western language, dress western dressing, yet we claim we are intellectuals, that we are educated more than our ancestors, what happened to our unique, beautiful traditions and cultures? Our native names? The reason why we are backward is that we have abounded our ancestral/native names, how many of your so-called salve masters are bearing our native names, the more we bear western names, the more we keep impoverishing and enslaving ourselves, those of you bearing Paul, peter, and luck as your baptism name because you want to make heaven don't you know we have Amadioha, Kanu and Amarachi in heaven? Our stupidity is we keeping defending what is not ours.

It's obvious those days when children are not given foreign names has gone, the days when every family used to have certain names of their family they want their child to bear, those names were linking the child to his or her guardian angel, because we believe in reincarnation, gone are the days when a child is born they will consult and find out who has reincarnated in the family and give the name of that person to the child, these were to also make sure that the child was rooted in the spirituality of the family, the days when an umbilical cord of a child will be buried somewhere at home with some few rituals done to always connect the child with a home, but when Europeans came with Christianity they blacklisted everything as evil, and we believed them and followed them, we are suffering at their hands, and we are helpless because we always look to them for our problems.

The greatest racist is denouncing your ancestral/native names and calling them fetish, you idiot efulefus claiming our ancestral names are idolatry must note that the reason why we answer our ancestral names is to confirm to you that our ancestors do exist and that everyone has ancestors, otherwise, if you don't have an ancestral name you would not be existing, you live because they have lived, you are what you are because of them, ancestors are living within us through the life that they have imparted to us, through their names that we bear, their DNA is always with us, and wherever we are they are there because they live in us through their DNA in us, we don't believe in ancestors because we know them and some of them we have even spoken and touch them, I don't need to believe in My Grandmother or Grandfather because I know that she or he was and is existing through me, if she or he was not, I wouldn't be here today.

We are our Ancestresses and our Ancestors. You need to go deeper than that because our Ancestresses and our Ancestors are more ancient more than one can think of, our ancestral,/native names are as old as creation itself, always take nature into account when dealing with your ancestral/native names, because there are spiritual implications attached to it, we must retrace our steps back to our ancestral/native names and do away with western pet names.

In conclusion: we must be proud of our ancestral/native names for they are not fetish nor idolatry names if we deny our ancestors today generations to come will also deny us because we must all die someday and become ancestors to them.

Ndigbo are not cowards.

 Written by Emmanuel Ike Nwobosi

Enough of these unnecessary killings of Ndigbo in Igbo land!

They must stop these killings in the name of trying to stop Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.

Power involves a relationship between people;

Do not be one of the many who mistakenly believe that the ultimate form of power is independence.

Any further attempt to shed innocent blood of my people will be resisted.
We are not bushmeat, we are humans!

The Fake Display of Innocence among the Nigerian Leaders in Juxtaposition with King Oedipus' Moral Conscience

Written by: Ikenna Ozulumba Mbaegbu

For IPOB Writers

You ever came across this book titled : "Oedipus the King" by Sophocles? You may want to read it. A very interesting story!

Oedipus in this play is the major character who could not out-run his own fate. Destiny is a bitch, isn't it?! He had struggled to control and alter his future, but in the end failed woefully!

When Oedipus was born, a soothsayer had  fortold that he (an ill-fated child) would kill his father to marry his own mother. So his own people decided to cast him away and have him slain at infancy.

However, the king's servant who was sent on this mission didn't have the nerves to do it, so he dropped him in the bush and left.

As fate may have it, Young Oedipus was picked by a man who took him away and raised him up into a vibrant, strong young man.

Later on, Oedipus became a king in his own  father-land after slaying his own father in a physical combat over a land dispute.

When Oedipus realized that he had killed his father unknowingly, unknowingly killed his father and was sleeping with his mother, and that because of his crimes plagues were ravaging his city because what he had done, he then plucked his own eyes out and left. He did not feel innocent. In fact, he had felt that he had to punish himself.

But our leaders today,
they always feel innocent. Yet, they are involved in all manner of corrupt practices such as fraud, syphoning of public funds into their personal accounts, killings, looting, money laundering,  et cetera.

And when these atrocities of their political reign finally became known, they would shamelessly still deny them before all and sundry, and you would hear them cry,

"Ah, we didn't know!
We truly didn't know!
We weren't aware what was going on! Our conscience is clear!"

But the difference is, the single most important difference between those Nigerian political leaders and good King Oedipus is that they will still remain in power. All am saying is that morality has changed since Oedipus.

Permit me to further more reiterate here that the difference between Old King Oedipus and the Modern day Nigerian Political Leaders is that King Oedipus had morality in him while the Nigerian Leaders lack moral conscience and that does not portray a good leadership. That is why our society today is in one big almighty mess!

The only panacea to this problem is a total call for the disintegration of Nigeria. This is because the country was laid on the foundation of lies and deceit. It did not emerge through an organic process like every other nations of the world did. It was brought into existence by a certain white man named Sir Fredrick Lugard who came to Africa back in the 19th centuries only for the purpose of trade. Lugard's major interest for coming to Africa was truly not to govern the land but to exploit it.

When Nigeria was formed in 1914, different people that had different ideology and political background were brought together as one. It was this forceful amagamation that gave birth to all manner of evil practices in the land, where you have tribal wars, ethnic bigotry, disagreements, killings, corruption, abuse of power et cetera.

If Nigeria is separated today and these different people (The Igbos, the Hausas and the Yorubas) are allowed to go their separate ways to manage their own affairs by themselves, there shall be one voice and perhaps "Morality" and good "Governance" shall then return back to the land just like in the story of King Oedipus who punished himself and left so that peace be still in his kingdom.

Kanu, the Human Virus in the Nigeria Corrupt System.

Written by Ikenna Ozulumba Mbaegbu

For IPOB WRITERS

What is a Virus?

Wikipedia, an online platform defines it best,

"A virus is a biological agent that reproduces inside the cells of living hosts. When infected by a virus, a host cell is forced to produce thousands of identical copies of the original virus at an extraordinary rate.

namdi Kanu is the human virus that has found his way into the Nigeria corrupt system and IPOB family members are his duplicates.

It is now crystal clear to all, that Kanu's only weapons of mass destruction which he uses to destroy his host (Nigeria) are his "Microphone" and his "Truth." Nigeria being a nation that was founded and laid on the foundations of lies and deceits is now gradually crumbling and falling apart since Kanu surfaced and started giving his preachings on "truth" and "reality" on Radio Biafra London and as well the evil practices that have been going on in the contraption called Nigeria since its creation in 1914 by Frederick Lugard, a white man from Scotland, Britain.

The political leaders (The nomadic Emirates of the north known as the Cabals) who are solidly behind all these evil practices prevalent in the aforesaid nation have since its creation held the poor masses to ransom, as they have incessantly continued to pillage and loot the country of her treasury (the natural resources which can only be found mainly in the Eastern part of the country - Biafra Land).

As a result of Kanu's intrusion into the Nigerian affairs, though his major focus and purpose is the freedom of his own people (Biafran race) which he has continued to seek non-stop, the country has been plunged  into serious chaos and in disarray!

As someone rightfully wrote and I quite agree with him, "Virus is a very deadly and dangerous thing to deal with, therefore never allow it to enter your body in the first place, for when it does, it will never go away until it gets you killed."  No matter how often the cabals who are piloting the affairs of the Nigerian government may try to contain him, this human virus called Nnamdi Kanu will never stop, but will definitely in the end destroy Nigeria. Mark my words!

Kanu once said during one of his broadcasts on Radio Biafra that "Biafra is coming (Etere ugba etere ose), whether the zoo (as he metaphorically calls Nigeria) likes it or not, in the end, the zoo will fall and Biafra will come!"

It is either the Nigerian government grants Kanu's request which is the absolute freedom of his people (The Biafrans) or it will kiss the untrue unity of the country goodbye because Kanu will never quit haunting and hounding until he gets what he wants.

IPOB VETERAN FAMILY SPREADS TO NNEWI SOUTH AND NORTH

By Chukwuebuka Idoko

After the 1967-1970 Nigerian-Biafran War (Genocide against Biafrans), Biafra veterans have been abandoned by the Nigerian government and the Nigerian Governments have failed to implement the three “R” which are Reconciliation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation in all parts of Biafra land. But even at this, the Biafran war veterans have chosen not to give up and have taken it upon themselves to search for each other regardless of where they are domiciled to ensure that they come together as one body under IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to support him in the restoration project.

Nnewi North and South were not left out at this point, as IPOB veteran family stormed these areas to inaugurate new IPOB VETERAN families in these places in addition to the ones they had inaugurated already across Biafra land.

Gen. G.C. Ukwuije (Leader of Biafra Veterans under the Leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) who came alongside his executives which include Col. Ejezie, Maj. Ogboaja (National M.P.), Brig. Ben. Ndu, Col. Aliwa, Col. Protus, Lt. Col. Felix Obi (Okija Divisional commander), Col. Madukwe (Ekwusigo Divisional commander) Maj. Eric (Nnewi South Divisional commander), Col. Geoffrey (Nnewi North Divisional Commander ) and so many others, went further to address veterans who were present at the Inauguration.

In his statement, he said “We defended our land for three years with crude arms, we ensured that our land was not taken over by our enemies, yes they said the war has ended, but I am here to tell you that the war is still on, it has not ended because if it has ended they won’t be killing our people on daily basis in the North, west and all over Nigeria, if the war has ended, they won’t be destroying our businesses in Oduduwa land, Arewa land and also frustrating our efforts in Biafra land.

"They talked about the 3R but they are yet to implement it, every time they keep coming to us and defrauding us of our hard earnings even when they gave us 20pounds after the war.

"Today our son Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, our leader and son has been chosen by God to continue from where we stopped in order to liberate us all, that’s why we have chosen to come together under one umbrella called IPOB VETERAN FAMILY and ensure that we support our son Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because he is fighting a just course.

"As we inaugurate you people today, 1st of April, 2019, I want you to gather others too and do your best to see that the gospel of restoration gets to all Biafra war veterans in Anambra State and beyond.

Meanwhile, Col. Ejezie in her own speech thanked the veterans for coming out en masse to welcome them.

"This simply shows that our love for each other is still intact. I am grateful to God for keeping us up till this day, because we all saw hell but God in his infinite mercy determined that we must survive. The Nigerian Government tried frustrating our lives by taking all our properties and left only 20pounds for us, but look around, you will testify that God has been good to us. Despite all they did, we are still feeding fine than they, go to the North you will see hunger physically, in the North hunger is written all over their faces, they (The Northern and Western Politicians) loot in trillions and billions but their people end up starving to death. If you walk around the streets of the North and Biafra land you will see them carrying dirty plates begging motorists and passersby. They are just parasites to us. One funny thing is that they  say that we are criminals but still don’t want us to go, they call us miscreants but still don’t want us to go and build our own sovereign state, Biafra. That’s to tell you that they have a cockroach in their cupboard, they want to Islamize us and slaughter our children.

“We will not allow them, we will ruthlessly face them and protect our land as we did during the 1967-1970 civil war and this time around it won’t be funny”, she echoed.

She went on to say, "Let's support our children who have risen up to restore our sovereign state.

Col. Protus in his own speech said, “We will not forget the great Ikemba Nnewi (Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu), we will always remain grateful to him and we say may his soul continue to rest in the Lord.

"We will fight to finish and ensure that what he fought for comes to pass.

Finally Col. Aliwa said the closing prayer and everyone departed to their various destination.

NNAMDI KANU AND THE BUILDING OF BIAFRAN ARK
IPOB members

The building of an ark of safety before our very eyes, is really ongoing. And at which extent have you as a concerned individual been lending your support to this all important divine project? The disgusting predicaments confronting Nigeria, have prompted the appointment of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with a mandate by God Himself, as the Noah of our generation to build an ark of liberation and redemption. Looking at two salient scriptural warnings handed down to Noah, signs and wonders that dotted the linings of heaven, coupled with the unfolding occurrences following the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), reasons to get prepared like what transpired in the time of ancient generation of Noah, need not be over-emphasized.

The ancient biblical account of Noah and his Ark is an event which some myopic thinkers have always thought was a fairy tale. They even concluded it unrealistic just because of stark ignorance of the knowledge of the mysterious God.

Noah is representative of all those that pay heed to a higher voice of calling, are readily prepared on the basis of contact with the Almighty God, without definite redemption task for oneself/family and the generation chosen out of the storm. Drawing example from this, God also called His ordained, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to become instrumental to the liberation of Biafrans from the devilish British enterprise called Nigeria. This British concocted experiment otherwise known as Nigeria, is an Islamic enclave that was founded on fraud with Sharia as a guiding  document which is currently reaping unabated wave of terror via the horrendous activities of Boko Haram, Fulani killer herdsmen and other terrorist affiliated groups. These are brazenly taking over Nigeria with reckless abandon, killing and maiming rightful indigenous inhabitants of the land, including Biafrans.

Noah's neighbors represent those godless lot whose primary interests squarely rest on their earthly leaders. These cannot evade the catastrophic events that befell the world in their time just as it will definitely affect all those trying to suppress the freedom quest of Biafrans in the contraption. Nobody eats his/cake and have it. It is absolutely important that no stone is left unturned as we watchfully take to heart, both scriptural signals and other unfolding developments. Fulani killer herdsmen, Boko Haram terrorists in concert with diverse kind of manipulation, oppression, enslavement, intimidation and killing have dastardly been unleashed on Biafrans, as orchestrated by the Nigerian government/  Islamic security apparatus led by Muhammadu Buhari/cabal aided Sudanese impostor called Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani.

God is calling on humanity to join forces with Biafrans in agitating for the unfettered restoration of Biafra sovereignty as ably piloted by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because the BIAFRAN ARK of emancipation is about to sail yet again, to it's point of destination.

People may be laughing and giggling in the midst of their mundane pursuits as the push for this project climaxes while the dedicated are doggedly digging in. This was the same fate Noah suffered but he never capitulated. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB, just like the biblical Noah/his sons that were cajoled, ridiculed and vilified have remained undeterred. At the end of the journey, what happened to deriders and scoffers in the time of Noah, will most assuredly befall them right before the very eyes of Biafrans' present day Noah, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

In Genesis 6:13-16, the scriptures say and I quote: "And God said to Noah, the end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood, rooms shall thou make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without.

This is the fashion which thou shall make it of: the length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it shall be fifty cubits and the height of it, thirty cubits.

A window shall thou make to the ark and in a cubit shall thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shall thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second and third stories shall thou make it."

Noah in those days  is like the present day Nnamdi Kanu. Both characters acknowledged that obedience is better than sacrifice, that is their persuasion in positively responding to the call of God in humility and total submission. They eschewed complaints even in the face of daunting challenges and inhibitions.

OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS AN INVALUABLE ASSET

God Almighty alone remains the Alpha and the Omega. His words potently endure from generation to generation and that confirms His attribute as Elohim in Hebrew language while in Biafraland, He is called Chukwuokike Abiama. His command is supreme and a task that must be accomplished without any form of hesitation. God at all times, must be honored. His glory is the ultimate goal in whatever endeavor.

When Noah got the divine call for the great mission of building the ark of salvation for mankind, he never objected. He firstly commenced with the preparation of outright construction work according to God's instructions. What an obedient and humble Noah in a generation of perverseness! When he started the building, many people in his time, out of opinionated biasness and tainted motives, variously desecrated the ark in their plots to frustrate Noah. This man bitterly wailed to Yahweh who in the first instance, instructed that he embark on the construction. God was determined to destroy the entire human race with deluge (flood) of water. His cries reached Elohim and He said to Noah: "My servant, do not worry, for they would come back to the same ark and clear all the stools amongst other garbages which they threw in the ark by themselves." The ark was full of stools and other waste materials, things they desecrated the ark with in order to ridicule the good work. They believed that the man Noah, was dissipating his energy in a worthless venture. Some questioned his personality before God whom he claimed to be working for. They mocked him to scorn with all manner of evil speakings but Noah maintained his peace. He saw his deriders as a people that lack knowledge and so could not grasp the message of God. They blatantly refused to heed to the instructions of God whom Noah served. They and their households, cronies and associates just like many Biafrans today, totally failed to support the divine mandate. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the highly intelligent leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, is courageously championing the restoration of Biafra as a nation. Biafra restoration struggle is divinely orchestrated to lead His children to the promised land, a land filled with milk and honey, as true descendants of Israel.

Those who disparaged Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, called them unprintable names shall come back soon to give praises for the awesome job that has been accomplished. That very day will witness marvelous wonders even before the global community. The glory of Elohim will descend upon the African continent because of Biafra. At this juncture, it is important to unmistakably sound a warning to some narrow-minded, self-serving and irrational individuals that are presently fighting against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB to either amend their ways and rejoin the family in total humility and obedience or face the consequences thereof for their actions. Their plots to extinguish the light that is currently beaming on Africa through this Biafra restoration mandate can never ever be realised. Biafra is a spirit and a project ordained by God. All those fighting against Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB in Nigeria, are likened to the neighbors of Noah, throwing stones and frustrating the exceptional efforts of the man in the ark construction experience, quite oblivious of the fact that IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,  are the ark that will drive the freedom of Biafrans out of Nigeria. All those arrogating leadership to themselves in Biafraland like Eastern elders, governors, Ohaneze Ndigbo, etcetera, are criminally helping the enemy to clampdown and brutalize innocent IPOB family members just to cushion their selfish purposes. They are inadvertently becoming cogs in the wheel of awesome progress made in the liberation of Biafrans. They fail to understand that every act of subterfuge has boomerang effect which will spare no perpetrator. That is why one Igbo adage which says: "Ihechi Obula Onyemere ga-abiara ya ugwo", meaning that that "whatsoever one sows, that he/she must surely reap", becomes relevant here.

Note that all those in the time of biblical Noah who used the ark as their convenience, eventually used their hands to cleanse up their mess as God pointedly told Noah. Praise be unto our God, Chukwuokike Abiama for His greatness. His words remain infallible and that which He has clearly stated about Biafra must surely come to pass.

One popular song serves appropriately as a reminder:
"As it was in the days of Noah, prepare my brothers, prepare my sisters, prepare my beloved friends for there is danger..... the Lord descends, consume by fire, heaven and earth shall vanish, don't you hear the warning, the Lord is coming!!!" Indeed as it truly was in the days of Noah, he faithfully built the ark in obedience to divine instructions. Even though many thought him to be stupid, he remained bluntly committed to the cause of God.

The foundation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu rests on the fight for emancipation of God's own children which is the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). He clearly, intelligently and committedly chose to fight for the total restoration of the sovereignty of Biafra as a nation. It is exceptionally sacrosanct and when God sends one on an errand, such an individual has to carefully and clinically attend to whatever issue he/she is detailed for, with commensurate power and authority. Nnamdi Kanu is on a mission to liberate Biafrans from the dungeon of slavery but Nigerian politicians,  governors and some of the so-called Igbo elites are covertly working against him and IPOB due to their corrupted minds. They are tirelessly scheming to truncate the blazing train which is considered as the Ark of Noah, built by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB families, the world over.

Based on this, one makes bold to tell the saboteurs that whatever happened to Noah's unrepentant neighbors of old will most certainly repeat itself in our own time in the  nearest future. Those castigating the IPOB and her leadership as headed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will definitely return to eulogise them for a job well done.

BIAFRA AS A SPIRIT

Not many people know for sure that Biafra is a spiritual force. When Noah built the ark of covenant, not many in his time knew that the project was more of spiritual concern than physical. In such mold is the agitation for the restoration of Biafra sovereignty. Many Biafrans are yet to come to terms with the stark reality that Chukwuokike Abiama ordained and orchestrated this global indigenous mass movement of our time. And that is why anybody, group or institution trying to stampede the project out of track,  will certainly pay very dearly for it. What the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is doing, revolves round strong spiritual anchor rather than what the carnally minded and evil personalities perceive. Since Biafra is a spirit, those assiduously striving for her freedom have no option than to be spiritually minded at all times. They have to be diligent and focused otherwise, doing the converse will result in judgement. Those with divided intent or a different agenda have to permanently withdraw from their scheme and repent to avoid the devastating consequences that became the lot of the rebels in the time of ancient generation of Noah.

We must all conscientiously and courageously remain supportive to IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for those involved in this struggle are dutifully and historically, writing their names on the sands of time which will endure for generations to come. Biafran enemies should note the impending life-long regret like the deriders of Noah when they discovered that they could not take safety in the ark during the great flood that visited the earth.

The Old Tortie

By Ikenna Ozulumba Mbaegbu

Instinct thy guardian Angel
Instinct of survival
Adorned in many colours.
Behold, the old Tortie
Old as the game,
Always the same.

Slow in move;
Careful to choose
The old Tortie,
The wise a creature.

Thy shell,
Thy safe house
Like a hole of a mouse
And when danger knocks,
Calls thee home,
And there in
Shall thee remain
Till safe the ground
Till peace abound
Then resume thee
Thy unending journey.

Many qualms prevail thy way
Struggling to push thee astray,
Many issues to smartly trash,
Many worries to strongly smash,
The old Tortie must survive,
Always the same
Same as the game.

Sure, thy absence from stage,
As thou embark on this pilgrimage,
The very quest to clear thy head,
Sure, will create fear
If not mass hysteria
As friends shall be drawn to tears,
As enemies, shall in victory dance
As frenemies shall askance
Look thee
And ever ready
To spread the gospel,
The very gospel
Of the old Tortie's misfortune.

But Trust Old Tortie
His survival, the nature's gift,
His absence, a mere shift
To gather more wisdom,
To gather more  Knowledge
And to again emerge
In another form.

Open Letter to Mr. Charles Ogbu

WRITTEN By
Comr.Felix C Onyemachi

Dear Charles,
I know this letter will not meet you as a surprise package but just to enlighten you on why Biafrans should not partake on any election taking place in Nigeria. I do not mean any harm to your character but l am only here to respond to your published article on Sahara Reporters Media. I am always delighted to read your articles but your recent article on “WHY IGBO YOUTHS MUST NOT BOYCOTT ELECTION IN ALAIGBO” looks like you were forced to write in order to appease your “pay masters”.

I must confess that l was delighted with your first paragraph where you acknowledged that IPOB agitations have helped in bringing the marginalisation of the Igbos to both local and international scrutiny. Unfortunately, l was very much eager and enthusiastic to be convinced why Igbo youths must not boycott election in Alaigbo for which, to the best of my knowledge, you failed woefully.

However, in your subsequent line, you complained about the inability of IPOB members to identify with the opinions of non-IPOB members for which you detaste. In this case, you have contradicted yourself because you are trying to impose your opinion on IPOB to participate and vote in the 2019 Nigerian elections. I must let you know that no man has the monopoly of wisdom.. The decision to boycott any Nigerian election by IPOB members in Biafra land is not an individual opinion. IPOB members have considered both the advantages and disadvantages of boycotting election and have come out with the view that the advantages outweighed the disadvantages.

Since you could not convince me on why Igbo Youths must not Boycott Election in Alaigbo, l will be glad to tutor you on why we must boycott the 2019 election in Biafra  land. The only reason you gave on why you want every Igbo youth to participate in the 2019 election is to vote out Jubril Aminu, who is presently impersonating the late President Muhammadu Buhari, the former President of Nigeria. One of your reasons of voting him out is that Jubril is a tyrant, and he has killed many IPOB members. If that is a genuine reason, it follows that the five eastern governors must also be voted out because they initiated the killings, proscription and the tagging of IPOB members as terrorists.

In your article, you accused IPOB members of not balancing emotion (Passionate Commitment) with reason. Unfortunately, you are being more emotionally attached to Peter Obi and Atiku than Jubril. Although, Jubril is presently the worst enemy to IPOB members but how are you sure that Atiku will not change, the moment he holds on to political power?. What is the difference between Atiku and Buhari?

Atiku and Peter Obi have promised to restructure Nigeria if they win 2019 election. Mr. Charles, have you asked Atiku and Obi how they plan to restructure Nigeria? Is it by a brand new constitution or by amending the existing “rogue” document called Nigerian Constitution? If they say it is brand new, how can they do it without violating the oath they took? If they say it is by amendment, how will they satisfy the conditions stated in section-9 of that “rogue” constitution?

IPOB was officially proscribed and tagged terrorist organisation by the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Being tagged as terrorists, IPOB members are the one enemy to the Nigerian military. Terrorists don’t vote in any election and likewise, you don’t expect IPOB members to participate in a country’s election where they are seen as terrors. IPOB has been playing safe since the Nigerian government tagged it a terrorist organisation. There is an Igbo adage which says “Onye Ndi Iro gbara gburu gburu na eche ndu ya nche), meaning “when you are surrounded by enemies, you need to watch over your life”.

The Nigerian military is looking for any loophole to pin down any IPOB member. So many events have taken place in Nigeria where IPOB members were not involved, but the Nigeria military, out of hatred, accused them of being participators. For instance, police arrested 19 IPOB members on the 14th of September, 2018 in Rivers State and accused them of burning 15 Trucks. Around November 2018, protesting Nnewi traders shut down markets over arrest of 33 members by the police and paraded them as suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Mr. Charles, do you want IPOB members to be killed by the Nigerian military for participating in the Nigerian election?

You also accused IPOB members of not respecting Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the South east governors. How could one trust a leadership (Ohaneze Ndi Igbo) that always speaks from both sides of its mouth? I can vividly remember them saying “We, Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, have already made it clear that we are not interested in the Presidency or Vice Presidency unless you restructure Nigeria”. The moment Peter Obi was appointed by Atiku as the running mate; Ohaneze Ndi Igbo became “Articulated”

It is essential to state categorically that election is not the solution to the problem of the Biafran people. We have been electing people to political offices, but this has only brought untold sufferings and hunger to the people. Elections in Biafra land have only produced servants to the Hausa/Fulani Oligarchy and those who feed on crumbs from their table. It is IPOB's determination to restore Biafra republic where her people will have greater freedom and accommodation.

Tattered Beauty on the Street of Motherland

~ By Ikenna Ozulumba Mbaegbu

l saw the act
So rough but pretty
l called her paragon
Of beauty and eloquent
That gift of human
That  never seized to occur
In every man's lips,
Pose ruggedly on the street laughing
Seriously without season
So happy in face
So sad in thought
Her choice is stunning
The flag of her hobby
Designed with many colours
Red and black
Yellow and green
Smiling around her waist
Pleading for freedom
From heartless men of greedy

The quest< is open
Just like the appearance
Of her beauty
That glows
Like the candle light,
On a clear night
Though, she's not too tall
And not too small
Not vocal and serious
Yet chant freedom! freedom!!
In her funny way

br /> Her laughs so nice
But agony in disguise,
Her mind so empty
Like a deserted street
But knows the direction
Of the  wind when it blows

Yes, when the
Inner thought visits
And she laughs
She moves in contact with
The ocean of wretchedness,
And slavery she swims along
With the people of the land
The suffering  hidden
From the eyes of the world

Sometimes,
like one in a trance
She will stand to dance
To and flo she will prance
As she claps and laughs
All to herself,
Neither aware of the onlookers
Nor is she dancing to the tune
Of the market music
But to her song of lullaby,
Her only song of lullaby,
That only her knows the lyrics,
And whatever that sings for her,
None ever can tell.

Her name, Nwaka
A true daughter
Of the soil
Who basks in turmoil,
Whose joy has long gone
And sadness there to taunt her on.

Her name, Nwaka,
A Biafran Mad woman
A child of heaven
Walking among the living
Existing, but not truly living.

Cry for Restoration

By Ikenna Ozulumba Mbaegbu

IPOB members protesting

Memory of old days
Still know me by name
The days l called peace
So calm, the land.

recall the old days
When men were still men
And women were still women,
And "Truth" still remained.

I recall the old days,
In our culture
Keeping right was in our nature,
If you lie,
You die.

But those days are gone
Evil now prevails, humanity is done!

Noblemen have gone mute
And fail to confront the truth,
When leaders pillage and loot.

Is it the effect of white supremacy?
Whatever has happened to decency,
How this came to be,
Remains a mystery!

In Africa,
In Nigeria,
Even in God's Temple,
People now killing people,
Ideas are crippled
Laws no longer obeyed
And In fools leaders are made.

Heaven hear me,
As I pray to thee,
Oh Lord of Host!
Kill the enemy's boast,
Take thy full course,
And make things right for us.

Oh, Providence
We need thy benevolence!
Free Africa,
Free Mother Biafra
Bring back good norm
May your kingdom come
Put to an end, our mourn
So that we may Glorify thy holy name.
