China orders the destruction of churches, burn bibles and force Christians to denounce faith

The Chinese government is destroying crosses, burning bibles, closing churches and forcing Christian believers to sign papers renouncing their faith as the crackdown on religious congregations in Beijing and several provinces intensifies.
The suppression of religious freedoms is part of an official campaign to “Sinicize” religion by demanding loyalty to the atheist Communist party and removing any potential challenge to the party’s power in the country.
“The international community should be alarmed and outraged for this blatant violation of freedom of religion and belief,” Bob Fu of China Aid, said.
“The situation for Chinese #Christians becomes more dire by the day. We are working tirelessly to put maximum pressure on China stop the persecution,” Jay Sekulow, President Trump attorney and Chief Counsel at the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), wrote in a tweet.
The persecution of Christians in China is nothing new. A report by the watchdog group Freedom House found that Christians and other religious groups in China have been persecuted since 2012, Fox News reported.
A third of all religious believers in China who belong to a faith group were also found to face “high” to “very high” levels of persecution, which ranges from bureaucratic harassment and economic exploitation to harsh prison terms and even violence, the report said.
But experts and activists say the Chinese government is now waging the most severe suppression of Christianity in the country since religious freedoms were granted by the Chinese constitution in 1982.
The escalating anti-Christian campaign coincides with President Xi Jinping recent consolidation of power that made him the most powerful Chinese leader since
Mao Zedong, the notorious communist leader responsible for millions of deaths.

Activists reportedly filmed footage of what appeared to be piles of burning bibles and forms declaring that the signatories had rejected their faith. The authorities allegedly forced the believers to sign the forms or risk being expelled from school or loosing welfare benefits.
A Christian Pastor in the Henan city of Nanyang, whose name was not identified out of fear of retaliation by the authorities, reportedly confirmed that crosses, bibles and furniture were burned during a raid on his church on Sept. 5.
Father Benedict Kiely gives a first-hand account of the state of persecuted Christians in the Middle East and what sort of impact, if any, the Trump administration's campaign promise of providing aide has had.
He added that local authorities were in discussions with the church about reforming it, but no agreement had been reached.
According to Chinese laws, religious believers are allowed to worship only in government-sanctioned congregations. But many millions of Christians belong to underground or house churches that ignore government regulations.
Officials reportedly disputed the allegations raised by Christians, saying authorities respect religious freedom.

The anti-religion campaign affected not only Christian denominations. Around 1 million Uighurs and other members of Muslim minority groups in the country's northwest have been detained in indoctrination camps where they are forced to denounce Islam and profess loyalty to the Communist Party.
The Chinese government denied setting up the camps for indoctrination, but stressed the importance to tackle extremism.
China has an around 38 million Protestants, and some have predicted that the country will have the world's largest Christian population in a few decades.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

BIAFRA:  IGBOS AND THEIR FEARED EXTINCTION

Biafran woman in a traditional attire

The Igbo tribe is in a serious problem and danger of extinction for the following reasons:

(1) 50% of Igbos are born outside Igbo land, meaning that those children are not likely to live and work in Igbo land and can hardly speak Igbo language but foreign languages (Yoruba, Hausa, French, English, etc).

(2) 40% of Igbo girls between the age of 25 & 45 are single with no hope of marriage because 35% of young Igbo men live overseas and they have all married white ladies.

(3) 75% of Igbo youths leave Igbo land every year in search of opportunities in Yoruba, Hausa land or overseas.

(4) 85% of Igbos have family houses and own investments outside Igbo land. They strongly believe in one-Nigeria but failed to know that no Yoruba or Hausa man has a family house or investment in Igbo land.

(5) Igbos are the only people who believe that living outside their land is an achievement.

(6) Igbos are the only tribe(people) that celebrate their tradition outside their land e.g. Eze Ndi Igbo, Iri ji (Yam festivals), Igbo Village in America, etc. And this is because they have family homes in foreign lands. Igbos have failed to know that the children raised outside Igbo land especially overseas will never think of living in Igbo land. So, "what happens to the properties we acquire for our children when we, the parents, are gone?", remains the question all Igbos should ponder on.

(6) Igbos are the only tribe who see their land as a place to visit or as a tourist site rather than a place to work and live.

(7) Igbos are the only tribe who instead of promoting and appreciating their culture through movies and documentaries, only ridicule and mimic it by portraying ritual killings, wickedness, love for money and other social vices which were not originally inherent in their culture, thereby causing more harm than actually promoting their culture.

(8) Igbos are the only people who without hesitation believe in their history and description when it is told or written by an enemy/intruder or a foreigner, especially, when the "love for materialism more than selves" is being remarked.

(9) Igbos are the ONLY largest tribe on earth who fought for their independence and failed to achieve their freedom after 40 years.

FXChoice (10) Igbos are the only tribe(people) who fail to honour their brave heroes and heroines especially, the brave soldiers who died in the battlefield defending their motherland, and the innocent children starved to death during the Biafran war.

(11) Igbos are the only tribe who embraced their enemy after a bloody civil war and subsequently became slaves.

(12)  Igbos are the only tribe who do not find it necessary to teach their own version of history, culture and patrimony to their children.

(13) Igbos are the only tribe who are crying out against marginalisation in Nigeria but have no collective strength or teeth to bite.

With regard to the outlined weaknesses of the Igbos, how long will it take them to come back to their senses and acknowledge the outlined obvious facts with active steps to overcoming such practices capable of bringing them to a gradual but sure extinction? How long are they going to fight for relevance in Nigeria? How long will they fight for a functional airport, rail networks and other structural establishments that underpin sustainable advancement in development? How long are they prepared to wait for their enemy to guide them to their destiny? Oh! Where are Igbo leaders and elites? Unfortunately, none of them lives or works in Igbo land.

As I close this piece, I wish to advise the Igbos, should they wish to save the future of their children, identity, generation and race, then, they need freedom, and that freedom is Biafra - the only route to escape the impending extinction of the Igbo race.

Biafran women to celebrate popular August meeting in grand style

By Onumajuru Onyekachi MacSantos

“No smoke without fire’ no successful struggle without the strength of women. In the past and this modern day, women have played and still playing pivotal role in freedom fighting and information dissemination. Even in the Bible, women were part of the propagation of the gospel, for example, women spread the news about Christ resurrection.

Here comes the forthcoming official and golden opportunity to spread the good news to the grassroots about the upcoming Biafran referendum. Women August Meeting is the perfect platform to do the most sensitive, important and necessary underground work toward Biafra restoration. The wonderful women conference has attracted development and also yielded fruits in our communities, clans, provinces in Biafra land. Women have achieved much through the platform of August meeting to sensitize both old and young in their various localities in Biafra land.

Any freedom fighting without women must have a bold question mark, and the project will identify failure because women are the backbone of freedom fighting globally. Any individual or organization that undermine the power and ability of women is designed to fail. Women are the champions of information; when it comes to revolution, protest of any workable and successful struggle all over the world.

Women hardly disregard or sabotage struggle effort, unlike the men. Women discharge their duties very excellent and confidently without attracting prying eyes to themselves. August meeting is an organized perfect way to disseminate and direct the referendum information to the main grassroots in rural areas in Biafraland. Women remain the giants of evangelism and information. Biafran women never relented in supporting their husbands and children in the issue of freedom. Remember, “Behind every successful man there is a woman.

The vital work of Biafran women never go unnoticed, they have recorded some achievements and mighty roles in the past. Women protest and revolution always attract global attention. The major contributions of women have propelled the struggle to the greater echelon. Practical examples are the Akwa Ibom (Ikot Abasi), women progrom and Aba Women Riot both of which took place in 1929, 1967-1970 Biafra genocide, Abiriba Women naked protest in Abiriba stadium in 2017, handshake across the Niger in early 2018 and Awka restructure summit that took place in 2018 respectively. I will briefly analyze them serially.

The Akwa Ibom women peaceful protest popularly known as Ikot-Abasi massacre in December 16th 1929 at Consular Beach, Egwanga Opobo now known as Marina Beach, Ikot Abasi local government area, where more than 26 died on the spot of the ugly incident including the women leader madam Adiaha Edem, the mother of Udo Udoma. Where they started beating the fence of the District Office before the commander of the contingent of British Soldiers; Lieutenant J.N. Hills ordered the troops to open fire on the women who were peacefully assembled.

Aba women revolution also known as Aba women riot in the same 1929, as it was named in British colonial records, is the more aptly considered a strategically executed anti-colonial revolt organized by Biafra women to address social, political, economic and women tax grievances. The riot encompassed Biafran women from more than six clans in Biafra land; namely (Ibibio, Andoni, Ogoni, Bonny, Opobo, Lower Benue and Igbo) respectively.

Biafra war in 1967 to 1970, the women played a significant role in the Biafra sector. An analysis of women’s coping strategies using two process model of primary and secondary control shows that rather than privileging one another, the women combined both processes in ways that were functional and meaningful in the Biafra cultural context. Women worked as nurses, doctors, spies and cooks in the war.

In the year 2017, when IPOB women’s wing were preparing for the coming of the mother of IPOB supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Ugwueze Okwu Kanu, Nigerian soldiers invaded their venue with violent conducts and adoption. The women didn’t relent or turn away from them rather they went naked and boldly chased the Nigerian soldiers away from Abiriba Stadium.

What of the compromised “handshake across the Niger” held in Enugu by Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the fraudulent restructure summit in Awka at Alex Ekwueme’s square both occasions took place the same year, where Biafran women gallantly showed their disapproval of restructuring, killing, intimidation and mental slavery etc.

Finally, another explosive protest from Igwuocha, IPOB Igwuocha women protested bitterly, went half-naked to protest against the kidnapping of IPOB supreme leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also warned Nigerian government to release their son. The protest in Igwuocha (Port Harcourt) was in July 2018. The achievements of Biafran women are too numerous to mention. The great Biafran women can still activate and also replicate their previous and present exploits in the forthcoming August meeting.

The women of integrity and honour, the appointed time is here again to showcase and demonstrate to the world what they are known for, also put the world on notice and remind humanity that the same blood that flow in the veins of Biafran women in 1929 is still the same blood that flow in the modern-day Biafran women, when Biafran women displayed their bravery to the world.

The fast-approaching August women conference is another platform to surprise the world through peaceful and educative evangelism. This is pure door-to-door evangelism about the upcoming Biafran referendum; take the message to old men, old women and youths in the towns and villages in Biafran land. Women this is your war; flood every nook and cranny in Biafra land with the message of our referendum.

Biafran women are perfect game changers, you people did it before, you can do it again, women are genuine and incorruptible in nature, always on the right track.

40 schools in England ban girls from wearing skirts to accommodate transgender students

Some 40 secondary schools in England have banned girls from wearing skirts, one month after a school in Oxfordshire recommended it's male students wear them to deal with soaring temperatures.
According to the Sunday Times, schools are opting for gender-neutral uniforms to encompass transgender students, with others consulting on a ban.
Priory School, a secondary in Lewes, East Sussex enforced a ban on skirts and ordered girls to wear trousers instead in an effort to accommodate transgender pupils, after students had asked why girls and boys had to wear different clothes.
Headteacher Tony Smith said in September, “We have a small but increasing number of transgender students and therefore having the same uniform is important for them.”
But feminists have complained that a complete ban on skirts in favour of gender-neutral uniform is not the answer to the growing number of transgender pupils, arguing that children should be offered a choice.
Renowned feminist, the American author and former Bill Clinton adviser, Naomi Wolf stated that: “I think that trousers-only for everyone is a silly way to go — unless you are going to also offer the option of skirts-only for everyone. I believe that if everyone is offered the option of both skirts and trousers, everyone can find his, her or their comfortable fit.”
Copleston High School, in Ipswich, has put skirts on a list of inadmissible items alongside “skinny jeans and facial piercings”. In Ipswich, a total of eight secondary schools prohibit skirts, which means the majority of female pupils in the town attend ‘trouser-only’ schools.
Skirts at Woodhey High School, in Bury, were classed as “undignified and embarrassing” for staff and visitors when girls sit on the floor for assembly and in drama classes.
There has been a backlash from some schools, who are fighting to save the skirt. Students at Philips High School, Bury, have assembled hundreds of signatories to their petition in reaction to plans to make wearing trousers compulsory for boys and girls next year.
They argue that a ban on skirts is “sexualising” pupils’ bodies. Female students at the school also claim that they feel more confident in skirts and forcing them to wear trousers could “damage our mental health.” The petition states: “If any teacher believes seeing a child’s leg is in any way ‘too sexual’,” then “they should be sacked immediately for gross misconduct.”
Diane Burdaky, parent of a pupil at Philips High School told RT that there had been no consultation process and that the children did “not want to wear trousers all the time.”
She said: "I was very shocked. There was no consultation with any parents or students. There was no explanation for the ban. No reasons given whatsoever. I know the children at school do not want to wear trousers all the time."
The latest school skirt furore, follows an Oxfordshire school telling its male students that they can join their female peers by donning the school skirt if they find trousers too hot and uncomfortable.
The advice issued by Chiltern Edge Secondary School came after the school introduced a ‘more formal’ uniform policy at the beginning of the school year, which stipulated that students’ legwear may only be either trousers or skirts.
The growing popularity of adopting gender-neutral uniform policies have grown among UK schools since the introduction of the Equality Act in 2010. Under its provisions, the law leaves schools with a duty to protect transgender students from discrimination.
