Biafra: Their Fathers Were Great Men But Something Went Wrong

The present crop of elders and so-called south-east leaders have failed woefully. They're watching Helplessly while a pregnant she-goat delivers on a rope.

The confusing part of this whole thing is that some of these weaklings called leaders claim to be sons of Biafra heroes. They answer the surname of our heroes but are weaker than a coward.

For instance, Ojukwu was a hero and a legend but his son’s behaviour is very strange to everyone. I doubt if Ojukwu’s blood flows to his first son. Ojukwu fought gallantly for the liberation of old Eastern region otherwise known as Biafra territory.

Ojukwu challenged the power that is. His bravery gave Igbos voice when the whole world joined Gowon to eliminate Biafrans.

It doesn't stop with Ojukwu, some other heroes have the same story. The principle of “omekannaya” is gone, the current selfish leaders have betrayed their parents.

Ojukwu’s generation was a wonderful one but the generation following it was and still a failure. The likes of Nnia Nwodo, Rochas Okorocha, Willie Obiano, Ike Nwosu, Iwuanyanwu, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ugwuanyi and other cowards have failed their generation.

The good news is that the present youth won't fail incoming generation. The leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will restore the dignity of Biafrans. The only thing that would have stopped Biafra restoration is the love of money but Kanu proved to us that money isn't everything.

Ojukwu will be very happy wherever he is, the emergence of IPOB has woken the spirit of Biafra heroes in their state, the spirit is hovering all over Biafra Land.

I would like to make it very clear that our generation will right the wrongs of our parents. They were swallowed by perishable things, greed, wealth and other distractions.

Current leaders have failed us and disappointed their parents. Their fathers were great men but something went wrong.
