Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnewi Chapter have said they are willing to give up their lives for the actualization of Biafra, insisting also that their leader, Nnamdi Kanu must not be tried in secret.
The Coordinator of the pro-Biafra group, Izuchukwu Chukwuma, stressed that people of the South East are not Nigerians but “Biafrans.”
In a video released on Tuesday, members of the group could be seen in a procession with Biafra flag while Chukwuma was heard speaking on behalf of the group.
According to Chukwuma, “IPOB, Nnewi, on 4th of April, we are on an evangelical mission to restore Biafra. As you can see, we say no secret trial for Nnamdi Kanu, no Sharia law, we are not Nigerians we are Biafrans.
“We refuse to be part of the entity and zoo called Nigeria. We are IPOB Biafrans.
“We are here to tell the world that we are ready to go, we will give it whatever it takes, we can give our lives for Biafra because we love Biafra.
“We want our freedom, we refuse to be part of Nigeria.”
