IGBO TRADITIONAL RULERS

Since after the invasion of Kanu's house by the men of Nigerian Military, Kanu; his father, some villagers, IPOB members and some family members are still missing till date.
The Palace of Afara Ukwu Ibeku was desecrated by the invading soldiers. Eze Israel Okwu Kanu is still missing and is nowhere to be found.

Now that the traditional rulers in Igbo land have raised alarm, what will Nigerian government do? Bribe them or kill them as usual?

The traditional rulers from three communities in Afaraukwu, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, have demanded a panel of enquiry to investigate the role of the Nigerian Army in the invasion of the home of the traditional ruler of Afaraukwu autonomous community, HRH Eze Israel Kanu.

From the petition, “ That since September 14, 2017, the whereabouts of one of our traditional ruler, HRH Eze I . O. Kanu, and members of his family, including some members of Isiama Afaraukwu community, are still unknown.”

Ndi-Eze have cried out and their cry shouldn't be swept under the carpet. They all have subjects and are capable of shutting down activities in East. Before coming out to put up a petition, consultations and other things must have taken place.

Nigerian military should provide Eze Israel Okwu Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu, missing villagers and members of IPOB present in Kanu's house before and during the invasion. Wherever the military kept them; alive or death we should know.

A traditional ruler of Igbo land is like a high priest, we respect their throne even when we may dislike the person wearing the crown. That throne is sacred and continues from generation to generation.

Buhari's government has no option than to call Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai to give the account of what happened on 14th September in Afara Ukwu Ibeku. Buratai remains the only person to give details of “Kanus” disappearance. The principle of last seen must be enforced in this case, Nigerian Military saw Kanu and his father last.

The time of standing on the fence is over. It's either you are for truth or not. I appreciate the sincerity of these traditional rulers, they've summoned the courage to challenge evil and evil must not rule.

It's a taboo to Invade a Palace in Igbo land. You can visit ‘Onye Eze’ to ask some questions and not to scatter his kingdom and kill everything seen moving.

Can Nigerian Military invade the Palace of Sultan of Sokoto? When and where did we hear of military invading Palaces in Northern Nigeria? Why so much hatred for Biafrans? These are questions begging for answers.

We'll keep-on reminding the international communities that they have the huge role to play in current Nigeria. The present Nigerian government cum military are tribal bigots. Igbo life doesn't matter at all. That is a reason why a policeman who extra-judicially murdered six Igbo traders in 2006 at Apo Abuja was reinstated and compensated last month.

When the inhabitants of southeastern Nigeria cry for freedom, it is a cry to correct existing rotten political system in Nigeria. It is a cry to restore Biafra nation where justice, equity and fairness will be the hallmark.
