(See Video)
Naij.com, an online Nigerian newspaper and entertainment
portal which ranks 7th most visited newspapers websites in Nigeria, has taken a
trip to Nnamdi Kanu's residence to confirm the military invasion of his home.
In a post from its Facebook page, Naij.com stated that the
followers of Nnamdi Kanu are still on with the struggle for independence
despite the fact that their leader is missing.
Damilola, a Naij.com correspondent, said they couldn't visit
the residence of Nnamdi Kanu at the time of the invasion when everywhere was
hot because they couldn't withstand the fire-power of the Nigerian military.
In his trip, Damilola saw the ransacked building, gunshots
on the Windows, including Nnamdi Kanu's bedroom.
He saw Biafra regalia littered all over the compound.
In his words, Damilola said, "The Nigeria military
declared Operation Python Dance II in
Nigeria's southeast.
"One of the fallouts of the operation is the
disappearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, talking about
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
"Alot of people have said alot of things about it -
positive and negative about this operation in Nigeria southeast.
"One of the things they have also talked about is the
proscription of the group and designating it a terrorist organization.
"My name is Damilola Okola and where I'm standing right
about now is the front of the building where Nnamdi Kanu himself - the freedom
fighter - was where he stayed before his sudden disappearance.
"Right now, nobody knows where he is.
"While the Nigeria Army is saying that they will not
declare him missing, his family members are saying, 'we can't find him; if he
is dead -if you (military) have killed him - bring him for us let us see."
