Igbo Quit Notice: Arewa Youths’ Frustrated as Unstoppable IPOB Torments Nigeria
The level of frustration that has visited Arewa youths, like an uninviting guest, is really causing a big psychological issue in their behaviours. As it stands now, there's urgent need for psychiatric attention or else there would be suicidal cases all over the Northern Nigeria.
Recall that Arewa youths under the aegis of Arewa Youths Assembly and Arewa Consultative Forum gave Igbos living in the northern part of Nigeria to vacate the region on or before October 1st, 2017.
There are verified facts which were the real reason behind the quit notice. The main target for the quit notice is to tame Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB.
Having acknowledged that IPOB is unstoppable, unperturbed by their rants, the members of Arewa Youths are in total dilemma. They issued the quit notice to make Biafrans to abandon the Biafra struggle but they were disappointed by the formidable nature of Biafrans.
One of the indicators of Arewa Youths frustration is their latest threat given to Osibanjo, the supposed acting president of Nigeria.
Arewa youths on Friday 28th July, 2017 at Kaduna House issued an ultimatum to Osibanjo to arrest Nnamdi Kanu within ten days or face protests in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
The second indicator is also about the threat given to their leaders by Arewa youths to jettison restructuring or risk mob actions. Arewa youths cautioned their elders not to accept any thing except the plan of dominating Nigeria which was the initial plan of Ahmadu Bello.
Remember that after Nigeria's independence in 1960, Ahmadu Bello proposed a blue print for the new nation. Just hear him (the bigot):
"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future." – Parrot Newspaper October 12, 1960.
Arewa youths grew up with the mentality of Ahmed Bello but to their greatest surprise, there was no Nnamdi Azikiwe to be deceived.
The current Igbo youths have given their lives for the love of present and future generations. Because of this selfless sacrifice by Biafran youths, Arewa youths are constituting nuisances every fateful day and maybe who knows where they would end up?
Osinbajo should disregard these frustrated youths or better off bundle them to the nearest rehab center if the zoo has any.
The wisest thing to do now is to challenge Biafran agitators through referendum and let the most popular carry the day. So any attempt to arrest Nnamdi Kanu must backfire, even the heat will roast the entire Africa.
Let referendum decide who the people preferred, Nigerian government should set a date for the democratic exercise of voting and let IPOB and federal government campaign to gain support.
Sincerely speaking, I don't need to speculate what would be the outcome of the referendum, even a new born baby in Biafran land looks up to the Rising Sun. All hail Biafra!
