Biafra Sit-at-home:  May 30th is a sacrosanct and our fallen heroes must be honoured

IPOB protesters

There has been threats from the Nigeria's security agencies as regards the sit-at-home order issued by the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in commemoration of Biafra's fallen heroes and heroines.

Some saboteurs in the likes of Ralph Lebeanya Uwazuruike have been paid to discourage Biafrans from sitting at home on that day. But Biafrans and lovers of Biafra are more courageous than that.

Even some lawyers from Igbo extraction have joined the train of sabotage trying to establish some baseless argument that IPOB leadership has no legal right to order people to sit at home.

But little do they know that IPOB is a people with UN declared right to seek self determination and that sit-at-home is a universal right indigenous people can adopt to drive home their agitation.

Hence the IPOB leadership has said that the level of compliance of the Sit-At-Home order in remembrance of Biafra's Fallen Heroes will prove to the whole world that Biafrans are indeed ready for a referendum for freedom.

Why This Year's Biafra Heroes' Remembrance Day Is Special

On the 30th of May, 1967, Biafran First President, Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu declared Biafra a Sovereign State and from my calculation, on 30th of May, 2017, Biafra will clock 50 years, therefore, Biafrans will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary which is called Golden Jubilee.

Biafra Golden Jubilee (BGJ) is the reason why the threats from different angles against Biafra's Heroes Day  will hold no water as Biafrans and lovers of freedom, in their preparedness to honour their fallen heroes, are keen to obey the order.

To show how keen Biafrans and lovers of Biafra and freedom are about the struggle and the value they place on their fallen heroes, all markets, transport companies, schools, banks, companies, civil servants, politicians, church-goers, petrol stations, Okada/tricycle unions, park management, artisans, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Drivers Welfare in Biafraland should shut down on that particular day in honour and remembrance of Biafra's fallen heroes and heroines.

Everywhere in Biafran land shall be locked down by 12:00 am Tuesday, May 30th,  2017. All road users are to vacate the road before that time or observe a standstill wherever they are from 12:00 am till 6:00 pm that day.

Total compliance is expected from all in Biafran land as anyone that fails to observe it, has declared himself an enemy of Biafra.
