30th May 2017 IPOB Sit-At-Home 100% Compliance, A Proof Of SS/SE Governors Failure And The New Leadership Mantle On Nnamdi Kanu

Deserted road in Biafraland in respect of the sit-at-home for our fallen heroes

On 30th May 2017, the whole world witnessed an extraordinary event as one person grounded activities of the whole of the Old Southeastern Nigeria (SS/SE) to a standstill.

The cities of old Eastern Nigeria formally known as Biafran territory witnessed a wonderful compliance of an order given by the Supreme leadership of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB.

In Enugu, the popular Ogbaete market looked like a ghost market. Every shop was under lock and key. Even traders who had perishable commodities in stock never let the condition of their business deter their resolve to protest against injustices in Nigeria through the sit-at-home.

In Anambra, the popular Nkwo Nnewi market was deserted; shops, banks, schools and companies were shut down. All the busy express roads turned to empty stadia where footballers and athletes rejected.

In Bayelsa, Yenagoa, the only popular town in a state of 97% water terrain and 3% upland looked like where people ran away because of war. Amarata, Yenezuegene, Igbogene, Edepie, Opolo, Kaiama, Odi, Yenezuepie, Ovom, Ekeki/Epie were shut down and even Southern Ijaw, Nembe and Brass weren't left out in massive compliance to sit-at-home order.

In Igweocha (Port Harcourt), the popular Ikokwu market, Aba Road and everywhere witnessed desert-like calmness, the type of thing I had never seen in my life.

School teachers close to my house wanted to prove otherwise to attend school but were disappointed that there were no students to be taught.

In Aba, the popular Ariaria market saw small children playing football in an ever busy market which turned to a ghost market.

The police officers were seen walking like refugees because for them, it was a bad market, no motorist to extort, no IPOB member to shoot.

Ever trigger-happy soldiers were disappointed, no IPOB members to shoot like that blood orgy of 29/30 May 2016 at St. Edmond Cath. Church Nkpor, Anambra state, where soldiers used Biafrans for a shooting practice.

Other areas of Biafra land were not left out in this maximum sit-at-home exercise. Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Cross-River, Delta and Benue state. Every Tom, Dick and Harry yielded positively to the success of the civil disobedience ordered by IPOB leadership.

Now let's look into what's called ‘leadership failure’. It's a situation where leaders don't lead; where they fail to provide true and proper command, inspiration and strategic vision for their followers, and for the protection of their subjects' collective interests.

From the above definition of leadership failure, it's very glaring but with deep regret to note that the old South-Eastern governors i.e. both South East and South South governors have failed woefully. Their failure contributed much to the new leadership mantle taken over by Nnamdi Kanu.  Kanu couldn't have gotten this unanimous support if these so-called leaders were doing what they were supposed to do.

It did not stop with the South-Eastern governors. When Ralph Uwazuruike sprang with his MASSOB, people thought that the long awaited Messiah had arrived but not knowing that he (Uwazuruike) had ulterior motives which boil down to what Igbo people call ‘fo nfoju akpa’ meaning, ‘embezzlement’. Uwazuruike defrauded MASSOB members of their hard earned money with different types of scams. He printed plates numbers for vehicles, passport for citizens to travel with, and imposed levies on old women, men and youths who have sympathy to Biafra restoration. All these he used in scamming our people.

Uwazuruike having noticed that he was going down, and when he was eventually sacked as the leader of MASSOB because of his fraudulent dealings, decided to form BIM political party. No wonder he opposed the just concluded 30th May sit-at-home order. His mission was to confuse international communities and the general public that he was still leading. But I believe in million years to come he will never recover from yesterday's shock because Biafrans spoke in one language to tell the world who their leader is, and it's no other person than Prince Nnamdi Kanu.

Then comes the question: what has Nnamdi Kanu done differently that other failed leaders failed to do to warrant the level of trust that Biafrans have in him?

Kanu is a trusted leader, simple! He never connived with oppressors to betray his people even when it's crystal clear that they're after his life, he still maintains his "Biafra or Death" mantra.

Kanu isn't a fraudster who can dupe his poor people to build estate in Owerri. Even when Nigerian government offered him juicy options for him to abandon Biafra Struggle, he said: "no, my people's freedom is more important to me than oil wells!".

Nnamdi Kanu has been consistent with Biafra Struggle which is a very distinct characteristic behaviour known as ideology. Governors of the old South-east(SS/SE) and their counterparts from other regions lack ideas. That's the reason why they jump from one party to another party. The United States of America is a good example where a Republican has conservative ideology and Democrats, liberals. These governors have sold their souls to the demon sucking the blood of their own people.

I am urging the international community to accept that a leader is that person who can command respect. As we can deduct from 30th May 2017 sit-at-home compliance that Nnamdi Kanu is no doubt the new face of Biafra struggle after the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, the Eze Igbo Gburugburu.

Nnamdi Kanu should be listened to. He represents the entire Biafran nation and anyone trying to foster a common ground should communicate to him, whatever he tells you is what an ordinary Biafran in the street, bank, market, school, church, offices, home or abroad wants.

Britain and other world powers should also respect the resolve of the indigenous Biafrans to leave the Nigerian unholy union. They should use yesterday Biafran land shutdown as mini-referendum because it is a total success.

They said that power belongs to the people, therefore, Biafrans have spoken to the world that "Nnamdi Kanu is our leader, we only need his command and everything is carried out as instructed".

May Chukwu Okike Abiama (God the creator) continue to bless Biafrans who observed the sit-at-home order in Biafra land; bless our brothers living overseas who took to the streets of their host countries to remember Biafran fallen heroes; bless Biafra friends and well-wishers.

We appreciate foreign media like Aljazeera who visited our leader to have unadulterated first-hand information about Biafra movement from him.
Long Live United State of Biafra (USB).
