The legal representatives of the detained leader of the indigenous people of Biafra were last night interviewed on 99.5 Wazobia Fm Abuja over the continued detention of their client, Nnamdi Kanu despite an order from a competent court of jurisdiction ordering his unconditional release,
The lawyers headed by the lead counsel Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor was given a 50 minute live on air interview in the studio of the popular radio station in Nigeria. Barrister Ifeanyi reiterated the need for Kanu's immediate release and medical attention , saying the country will be doomed if anything happens to Nnamdi Kanu. Mr. Kanu is set to appear in court on Monday, 26th September, 2016. for a 16 count charge including "treasonable felony". His lawyer also made it clear that Nnamdi Kanu is innocent of all charges levied against him.
