The freedom fighters group in the riverine region "The Niger Delta Avengers" has once again proven their stance of no backing down on the "Operation Red Economy" against Nigeria in their fight for freedom if the federal government fails to heed to their demands, one of the listed demands of the avengers is the release of the illegally incarcerated leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.
The avengers earlier last week rejected a negotiation rumour between them and the government of Nigeria and then replied yesterday by blowing up another NNPC pipeline located in Nsit, Akwa Ibom state on Sunday the 24th of July, 2016. as a sign that they are not negotiating with Nigerian government or backing out of their struggle.
The group In a statement released and signed by their spokesperson, Gen. Murdoch via their official website, saying:
"11:30pm on Sunday, the NDA blow up Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), gas pipeline at Nsit-Ibom L.G.A, Akwa Ibom state. NNPC should check their pipeline if it's "system Anomaly.
Brig.Gen Murdoch Agbinibo.
Spokesperson."
This development indicates that the Nigerian Government under the Buhari-led administration's unprofessional and lying to the public about an ongoing negotiation with the avengers has furthermore tarnished the image of the federal government both within and abroad.
