Channels TV has published a video showing the Nasarawa state lawmakers breaking into a fierce fight in the State’s House of Assembly after an alleged corruption by colleagues to have collected bribes from the state governor, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
The main issue of the problem is the appointment of sole administrators to head the local government councils in the state,on Friday, April 1, 2016.
Figthing broke out after some lawmakers allegedly accused six other lawmakers of collecting bribes from the governor and they refused to be suspended after a suspension act was passed on them,
Six out of the 24 lawmakers alleged that the other lawmakers had received money to go against their resolution.
The allegations may have prompted the House leader to move for their suspension, a motion that resulted to chaos
The argument erupted into a fierce fight which involves throwing of chairs , and men was seen jumping up and flying over the places,
