The Leader of the  "Indigenous People Of Biafra" (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has allegedly sue the Nigerian Govt, for a whooping sum of $800 million for his unjust and  illegal detention.

Reports reaching us late Thursday have it that the embattled leader on wednesday filed the case at the ECOWAS court of Justice in Abuja wednesday 02, March 2016,

Mr. Kanu has been ilegally detained in Abuja since October after he was arrested in a Lagos Hotel by the Nigerian security operatives (DSS)  further more charging him for a treasonable felony but without provable evidence has failed to convince the court.

His unlawful arrest and refusal of bail despite three courts ruling for his release have recieved worldwide condemnation and have sparked series of protests accross the globe
