Biafra: [IPOB PRESS STATEMENT] Nigeria Government Declares War Against IPOB

watch the video of Nigeria Soldiers shooting Biafrans

The events of the past weeks which began with a purported nationwide address by Muhammadu Buhari giving the Nigerian Armed forces as well as other Nigerian murderous security agencies the green light to embark on a well-organized plan to seek out and murder in cold blood unarmed and nonviolent Biafran civilians is coming gradually to a climax judging from what took place today Sunday the 10th of September 2017 at the home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. First, they attacked and shot unarmed Biafran civilians on the 4th of September at Isi Gate in Abia State Biafraland with many sustaining bullet wounds. Then on Friday the 8th of September they announced their operation python dance II against criminals, kidnappers and violent agitators in the South East as a smoke screen to give a sort of legal cover to their real intended plan to assassinate the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra. Is it not ironical that just two days after announcing their operation python dance the first place the Nigerian Army went looking for their fathom criminals and kidnappers was the village of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra?

The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is fully aware of the intentions of the Nigerian government to violently suppress the peaceful and nonviolent agitation of the Indigenous People of Biafra for Self-determination. They have received the matching orders from the Nigerian government under Muhammadu Buhari to annihilate the Biafran people if that is what it will take to stop our march to freedom through universally established, recognized and guaranteed the legitimate process of Self-determination. The world needs to understand that the Nigerian government under the arch genocidal Muhammadu Buhari is a threat to world peace and must, therefore, act now before he turns the West African sub region into a conflict zone.

The Nigerian media are well known as willing collaborators that aid and egg on the Nigerian military and security agencies in their crimes against humanity are at it again peddling the lies of the Nigerian Army with their narrative that IPOB blocked the road in Isiama Afaraukwu the village of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB. The video of this unconscionable attack by the Nigerian Army is very evident that no such thing as blocking of road took place. The world needs to ask the pertinent question what the Nigerian army was looking for in a village that has zero crime rate if not on a failed assassination mission to abduct Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and assassinate him. As I write, this blood thirsty Hausa Fulani killing outfit called Nigerian Army are still in Afaraukwu Aba road to be precise with armored thanks shooting sporadically in the air with the hope of intimidating and instilling fear and panic amongst the villagers.

The international community must be alive to its responsibility and call the Nigeria government to order by compelling it to desist from further harassment, secret abductions, and killings of unarmed nonviolent Biafran civilians. We urge world leaders to impress upon the Nigerian government to respect the right of the Indigenous People of Biafra to Self-determination as stipulated by both the United Nations and African Union charters. We shall remain undaunted in our conviction, we shall remain resolute in our belief and we shall remain firm and committed in our pursuit of the freedom of the Indigenous People of Biafra notwithstanding the clear provocations from the Nigerian Military and other security agencies. We are a movement built upon principle and discipline and will not allow them to provoke us to fall into their trap.

Signed
Mazi Chika Edoziem
Head Directorate of State of

Indigenous People of Biafra
