IPOB LEADER MAZI NNAMDI KANU WITH FORMER MINISTER OF AVIATION FFK |
Femi Fani Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has warned
the federal government of Nigeria under the dictatorial leadership of General
Muhamadu Buhari against re-arresting Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People
of Biafra (IPOB).
Learning about the deployment of police and army to
southeast and south-south geopolitical zones in order to rearrest Nnamdi Kanu
if the court orders so, the former Minister urged Buhari to be restrained,
adding that he "cannot fight 2 wars on 2 fronts all at once."
He advised Buhari not to stage a fight with Nnamdi Kanu
because Kanu, as a lion, is bigger than him(Buhari).
In a serires of tweets in his Twitter account, the
ex-Minister wrote:
“I learnt that more soldiers and police have been deployed
to the SE and SS to prepare for the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.
“For the final time, I urge the FG to be restrained. You
cannot fight 2 wars on 2 fronts all at once. Nnamdi Kanu is bigger than Buhari.
He is a real lion.”
The federal government reportedly deployed more security operatives, police and army
officers, to the Old Eastern Region in the country.
They were said to be saddled with the duty of making sure
that Anambra governorship election scheduled to hold on 18th Nov, 2017 holds.
But the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu had ordered that Biafrans should boycott that election and many
stakeholders have urged the Biafran leader to compromise his stance on the said
election but he has blatantly refused, stating that the Nigerian government should
organize a referendum for Biafrans to decide whether they still want to be a
part of the Nigerian state.
Recently, the Southeast governors forum held a meeting with
the IPOB leader urging him to change his ground on the election, stating that
his "demands cannot be absolute" but the IPOB leader replied,
"It is either Biafra or nothing".
