Willie Obiano’s Re-election Bid, Police Report and Dangote's Involvement In Ozubulu Massacre
Recall that on 6th August 2017, the worshipers in St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State were attacked by unidentified gunmen that killed scores of worshipers and left many seriously injured on that fateful day.
Shortly after the attack, the police came up with a report that it was a drug war between brothers traced to be rooted in South Africa.
The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano in a statement, acknowledged the report that the event was Okayed by Ozubulu brothers in drug deals from South Africa. Obiano’s support of the police report left many in doubt of the true report of what happened considering the short interval of the investigation by the police.
Some argued that the police couldn’t have gotten the true picture of the event as claimed without a thorough investigation. That if the incident was actually orchestrated by the drug barons from the community, why have the youths of Ozubulu community who lost their loved ones in the attack, not reacted since then, by burning the houses of the accused? Why have the Ozubulu indigenes not protested and asked the
government to bring the accused to book?
Thus, the non-reaction of the Ozubulu indigenes and government's inability to take action shows some cover up in the massacre, which the government and the police knew something about, but left it unrevealed.
Because one keeps wondering how the police knew about the drug dealers in the Ozubulu. Did they know about the drug barons before the incident and left them? Who reported to them that it was drug dealers from the community at that short interval? And if it was drug barons actually, why the accused haven’t been arrested, why is he still
going about his normal activities, also his father that said to have been killed by the attackers.
This is to say that the drug story was cooked to cover up the real issue because it is rare on this side of the world to hear that drug barons went inside the church in search of their partner at the same time, killed worshippers in cold blood. Of course, this is unheard of, and we should be aware of Boko Haram activities in our land, as revealed by a reliable source.
The report has it that the killers of Ozubulu worshipers came on
a mission to revenge the incident that happened in Onitsha -Owerri road between the police securing Dangote's site and a motorist that led to the death of a girl and a pregnant woman with her two children.
Willie Obiano’s Re-election Bid, Police Report and Dangote's Involvement In Ozubulu Massacre The incident resulted in a small conflict that prompted the youths in the area to attack the police, burning their van and destroying some property in the site.
But despite the death of the said individuals, the Hausa Fulani Boko Haram in disguise came all the way to Anambra State and killed many worshipers in St. Philips Catholic Church Ozbulu, in revenge of Dangote’s properties that worth nothing compared with people’s life.
However, this act of wickedness was covered up by the police to
protect Willie Obiano’s re- election bid.
Now that another church killing happened a week after Ozubulu massacre which claimed a life of a police officer and scores of civilians injured, there is no area to link it on. And at this point, we should be aware that our land has been infiltrated by Hausa Fulani Boko Haram terrorist
and everyone needs to be security conscious and careful to identify the activities of these killers that have begun their operations in our land.
