Northern Nigeria Orchestrated Quit Notice to kill and Confiscate Biafrans Properties

Northern States Governors Forum of Nigeria

Recall that on 6th of June, 2017, a Coalition of Northern Youth Forum made what they called "The Kaduna Declaration”, threatening all Biafrans living in the northern part of Nigeria to relocate back to their land of origin or face their wrath at the expiration of the ultimatum being 1ST October, 2017.

The above declaration is a clear indication that similar pogrom that happened in the 1960s is looming.

A report reaching IPOB desk from a reliable source has it that a group of northern soldiers are undergoing serious training abroad to crush Biafrans. And that imported arms and ammunitions marked "Arewa Youths" are being smuggled to the northern region on daily basis for war against Biafrans.

Sequel to the above declaration, confiscation of Biafrans' properties is one of the key plans by the northerners. Going by what the spokesperson of the group, Alhaji Abdulaziz Suleiman stated, that the Biafrans have clearly abused the unreciprocated hospitality that gave them unrestricted access to and ownership of landed properties all over the north, that their first major move would be to reclaim, assume and assert sole ownership and control of those landed resources currently owned, rented or in any way enjoyed by the "ingrate Biafrans" in the northern Nigeria.

Suleiman went on to state that the official's signatory to the groups were, upon the declaration, mandated to commence inventory of all the properties, space or activities currently occupied by the Biafrans for fortification, at the expiration of the ultimatum.

And in specific terms, they had been directed to compile and forward an up-to-date data of all locations occupied by any Biafrans in any part of Northern Nigeria which includes schools, markets, shops, workshops, residences and every other activity owned and managed by Biafrans.

However, the whole game is intended to kill and confiscate Biafrans' properties while forcing them to remain in Nigeria.

If not, what stops the northerners from calling for self-determination, as did by the Indigenous people of Biafra IPOB in a peaceful manner as domesticated by the Nigerian constitutions and approved by United Nations Charter.

What stops them from encouraging the federal government of Nigeria to conduct a referendum that would enable Biafra exit from Nigeria if actually, they meant Biafrans are their problems, instead of threatening and moving to confiscate properties of Biafrans.

Meanwhile, it is not new to Biafrans to be killed or their properties seized in different parts of Nigeria, especially in the northern region during and after the civil war.

Biafrans have lost their lives and properties to maintain one Nigeria. Biafrans, after the war, were given only 20 pounds in spite of billions one had in his/her bank account. But the loss never stopped Biafrans residing in different parts of Nigeria from developing the region as one Nigeria, unlike other parts of Nigeria especially northerners residing in the East, who own nothing other than mat and clothes they wear.

IPOB, therefore, has nothing to regret because if Biafrans lose their assets in the North as a result of this eviction, the same God of Biafra that fortified 20-pounds Biafrans of 1970 to billionaires that own and develop different parts of Nigeria, will still fortify the lost fortunes to unimaginable success.

And at this juncture, I appeal to all Biafrans residing in the northern part of Nigeria to come back home.  “We love your dear life more than the fortune you are leaving behind and can assure you that "living a day in God’s kingdom on earth - “Biafra” is better than a thousand years elsewhere”.
