Happening Now: IPOB Igweocha Storms Mbaise On Evangelism For 30th May Heroes Day

IPOB Igweocha led by Kenneth E.C Akubueziuka has stormed Mbaise with the message from Nnamdi Kanu concerning 30th May Heroes  Remembrance Day which has been slated to be observed at home by all Biafrans in Biafran land and the wider Nigeria.

Some IPOB members and Biafrans who have not identified with IPOB from Mbaise joined the trail and were seen singing Biafran songs, one of which says "I were na Biafra, Biafra, Biafra, were na Biafra weliere mu ofu akagi elu" which when interpreted means "Do you believe in Biafra, Biafra, Biafra, if you believe in Biafra, lift one of your hands up for me"

Speaking to the Biafrans at Eke-Itu in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Bishop Dr. Honeys Yek, the spokesman of the group, preached the message of Biafra, informing the crowd that gathered on the need to sit at home come 30th of May, 2017 which is on Tuesday next week.

In his own words he said, "Mbaise people, we have come to deliver the message Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, gave to us to send to you. That on 30th of May, 2017 being on Tuesday next week, nobody should be seen outside. Everyone should be at home to pray for the repose of the souls of our fallen heroes and heroines who sacrificed their lives that we might live."

"We are no more interested in Nigeria. The Whiteman came and joined oil and water together. My people, oil and water, can they ever mix?"

Everyone chorused NO.

Recall that a Sit-At-Home order has been given by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) and all Biafrans are expected to honour the order in respect of Biafra's fallen heroes and heroines who died during the 1967-1970 Biafran war and also those that have been massacred by the Nigerian armed forces since the renewed agitation for Biafra.

Biafrans, since almagamation of Nigeria have experienced plethora of challenges ranging from, among others, third-class citizenry to slavery with unabated cold-blooded massacre and they are tired of co-existing with their haters ( Hausa-Fulani) who are always ready to massacre them(Biafrans) at any opportunity.

Biafrans have encountered more challenges trying to opt out of what they were forced into, but they are really resolute, standing their ground that Biafra is the only solution to the Nigerian many problems seeing that Nigeria has never worked since the amalgamation of 1914.

In a bid to make Nigeria work, there had been coup after coup geared towards correcting the obvious ills in the state but none ever worked instead each coup plunged the country to a worse mess.

Col Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu seeing that Nigeria was not designed to work declared Biafra a Republic in order to save his people from imminent extermination as marginalization, bloodletting and genocide were the lots of Biafrans in the Nigerian state.

Although the state of Biafra was re-annexed to Nigeria with promises to correct the ills that led to the declaration of Biafra and subsequent war, such ills have been multiplied and the state of Nigeria is no more conducive for the marginalized Biafrans hence they are opting out of the forced union.
