love,
From  prison  appeared
Like a  father's words
To the children
To remain to abide
In oneness
Till daybreak

Yes, I am the father
That gave up self-comfort
That gave up self-worth
That gave up personal gain
To give you future

If tomorrow comes
You heard no voice
Of me
And see no more
Of me
And found me nowhere

Will you return
The love and
Sacrifice?
To follow my command
To read my wishes
To make proud
Of the heart
That loved you?

If yes,
Remain fearless
Before any enemy
Be David to
Any goliath
Be wise as serpent
Be clever as dove

Because to relent
Means backwardness
To be disunited means disaster
To be disloyal means to be crushed
To  succumb means
Perpetual Misery

Today is to be followed
The word as given
The footsteps as laid
To continue the fight
To realise the dream
My dream for you
Biafra,
Land of the rising sun!!
