BIAFRA | Sun Mar 12, 2017 | 4:45am

Just about a week ago,  the Honorable Judge Binta Nyako after struggling to get a better grasp on the Nnamdi Kanu's frivolous charges by genocidist Muhammadu Buhari and his murderous DSS agents, dismissed almost half of the charges levelled against an innocent man.

Can this be a change in omen considering the notorious history of Nigeria when it comes to the question of rule of law, respect and justice to humanity. Although this is identifiable to many African countries, Nigeria's case is different because it is expected to be the giant of Africa pacesetter, but the reverse is the case.

The emergence of a dictator in the year 2015 reactivated the old habits of dictatorship which has struck fear in a lot of law abiding citizens of this country.  The enormous damage done to democracy was responsible for the birth of breakdown in the rule of law that was also responsible for the unnecessary arrest and incarceration of any citizen that voices opposition or expresses his opinion that does not align with that of the dictator like Muhammadu Buhari.

The IPOB leader MAZI NNAMDI KANU is the latest victim of this rule by terror and intimidation to gain undeserved respect.  He was falsely arrested and charged with unsubstantiated charges, and the dictator (Buhari) employed his agents from the arms of the law enforcement agencies as well as meddling with the appointment of Judges to effect a miscarriage of justice.

His victim is intelligent, outspoken, truthful, fearless and stands rigidly in defence of his beliefs.  Moreover, MAZI NNAMDI KANU is a Biafran fighting for his right and that of other Biafrans because the Biafrans are the ones that the dictator Muhammadu Buhari will not like to see exist on the surface of this earth as well as within the boundaries of God given Biafraland.

It is worthy for every peace loving individual to honor MAZI NNAMDI KANU because his mission though is for the freedom of Biafra is also for the respect for all individuals that live in this enclave called the zoo.  People have now seen that his fight is for them to stand up for their rights, self-respect and dignity which have been taken away by the British.   His false imprisonment and gross violation of his human rights have exposed the dirtiness of this administration which Nnamdi Kanu has prophesied earlier that it would affect everybody.

Yes it did because members of opposition parties opposed to the reign of terror have been illegally arrested and bail denied despite legitimate court orders.  The judiciary which is the foundation of the government has also been compromised and put in disarray.  The one's that administered judgement based on fundamental principles of law have been arrested and frivolously charged with corruption.

The competent courts of jurisdiction orders to release MAZI NNAMDI KANU because he committed no offence have been disobeyed,  coupled with the recent dismissal of half of the charges by Justice Binta Nyako is the first strike out against Nigeria.  The second strike out is the ruling by the ECOWAS Court in favor of MAZI NNAMDI KANU.

Though such ruling should have been complete acquittal the internal politics within Africa should have been ignored because this is a clear case of violation of individuals human rights. Moreover, it will not be an understatement to say that they the ECOWAS Court are giving Nigeria chance to do the right thing.

Justice BINTA  NYAKO, you have taken it upon yourself to restore respect to your profession, we expect you will deliver the third strike out to this shameful episode of miscarriage and lack of justice in Nigeria's court system.
