Lai Mohammed, A Congenital Liar Of The Century - IPOB

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Tuesday(21st Feb, 2017) in Abuja at the seventh edition of the National Security Seminar with the theme “Consolidating on the Gains of Counter Terrorism Operations in Nigeria’’, said that fake news is capable of breaking the Nigerian state more rapidly than insurgency and militancy.

He pointed out some pieces of news he claimed to be fake among which was 'the killing of pro-Biafran activists' who were on a rally in solidarity with Donald John Trump who is now the 45th president of United States of America.

Lai Mohammed stated that the news above was fake as he claimed that the Nigerian security operatives, in the likes of the military and police, did not shoot any gun neither was anyone shot dead.

Also recall that Lai Mohammed recently claimed that he had not told any lie since he became a public servant; a claim which is obviously false.

Lai Mohammed is a congenital liar. Falsehood is inherent in him.

Amongst many lies he has peddled, during the electioneering of 2015, in a weekly programme, "Politics Today", anchored by Seun Okinbaloye of Channels tv, Lai Mohammed denied being among the APC House Members that opposed the procurement of arms in the Goodluck Jonathan administration. But the then PDP spokesperson, Chief Olisa Metuh, quoted him verbatim  where he( Liar Mohammed ) said that the "arms procurement bill" would be a source of corruption and a waste of the taxpayers hard earned money; and as a result the APC would not support the bill.

Metuh on his part was adducing that it was that disapproval of APC on passing the bill that frustrated and slowed down the processes involved in the arms procurement, as such arms are not just bought in the open market when one wants to but follows some diplomatic procedures.

Meanwhile Liar Mohammed forgetting that he once opposed the bill was busy accusing the PDP-led government of exposing the military to danger and suicide mission as little or no arms were given them.

Also recently, Lai Mohammed lied to Nigerians about the health status of President Muhamadu Buhari.

Lai Mohammed, had said that President Muhammadu Buhari was not in any hospital in the UK.

He made that statement, while responding to questions from State House correspondents, after a Wednesday’s weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, which was presided over by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.

He posited that Buhari was not in any hospital and that there was no need “to be giving bulletin” on his health status, hence insisting that the President was “well, hale and hearty” and not in any emergency health-wise.

He also pointed out that if all was not well, his cabinet members would have been running helter skelter.

But few days after peddling such falsehood, the president allegedly sent a letter to the National Assembly, extending his purported vacation to enable him complete and receive tests results of some recommended tests from his doctors.

For the president to have requested for additional time or rather extended his vacation indefinitely means that all is not well. The "hale and hearty" sermon of Liar Mohammed was fabricated and as a result "fake news" which is capable of destroying the integrity of the Nigerian state as well as causing commotion and fight between individuals and groups.

That the president extended his vacation on the grounds of health, simply shows that if the president is still breathing, he is actually in a critical condition, probably in comatose.

And with such secrecy surrounding the president's condition, one should not be blamed for accepting that the worst has happened to Buhari as it was reported that the police were called to arrest a Guardian reporter who went to ascertain the state of Buhari's Health.

I don't want to mention how he claimed that Buhari has fulfilled all his campaign promises when none has been fulfilled. Nor do I want to recall how he claimed victory over Boko Haram whereas they are still ravaging.

So from all these falsehoods surrounding the statements of Liar Mohammed, it should not be a surprise to anyone if he extends his falsehood to the massacre of IPOB members who were peacefully marching in solidarity with Donald Trump. It is a shame to an Information Minister of the Nigerian state that the police admitted to the shooting of IPOB members and as a result recording some casualties but he ( Liar Mohammed ) is busy peddling lies to deceive the public.

To put the record straight: not less than eleven (11) IPOB members were shot dead, several members sustaining deep injuries while many were carted away by soldiers with their vans  on that 20th January, 2017 when Trump was installed as the 45th POTUS.

And among the victims was Kelechi Justus Uwakwe, from Ikenga Eziudo Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo state; who was shot with his intestines gushing out and was buried on 16th February,  2017.

The blood of Biafrans murdered by the Nigerian security operatives shall continue to haunt Lai Mohammed and his cohorts until all unarmed Biafrans massacred are avenged by Chukwu Okike Abiama.
