EDWIN CLARK: THE BANANA AND PEA NUT MAN
I have just read an article ' BUHARI HAS SCALED-DOWN THE NIGER DELTA AMNESTY PROGRAMME.'

Please permit me react to the issues on that article Edwin Clark is believed to be an elder statesman in the so-called Niger Delta but after reading his article I was forced to take break to think if he is actually the one I thought he is, like Nnamdi Azikiwe said, when a man knows nothing and does not know that he knows nothing, he is a fool, teach him he will not understand. Yes, this is quite true of Edwin Clark because despite his old age he still has not learnt anything from the political arena in this contraption called Nigeria, which he seems to have nothing to give to the future generations rather he is to learn from the younger ones and this is shameful indeed.
Edwin Clark has not learnt anything at all since he is still encouraging his people to ask for bananas and peanuts, he has not learnt anything since he prefers a gateman in his father's estate, he has not learnt since to him sycophancy is a virtue instead of integrity. He has not learnt anything since he does not see any reason to prepare the future for his children. Edwin Clark did not see any reason to take the speech of Amadu Bello, the first hate speech ever rendered in Nigeria; he did not see any reason to learn from the lives and deaths of Isaac Adaka Boro and Ken Saro-Wiwa.

1. The first truth is that the Amnesty is a deceit because the money or resources used for the Amnesty programme is still from the Niger Delta region. The import of this is that the thief who stole your N100.00 is only giving you N20.00 back and is at the same time asking you not to complain. Another import of this is that the man who accepts this arrangement is a fool.

2. The second thing I want to let you know is that the Old Eastern region where the so-called Niger Delta belongs was described by Amadu Bello in his hate speech as their conquered territory. You should also not forget that this conquered territory is what today is called BIAFRA and this name Biafra was the choice of an Ijaw man who is also your brother.

3. The third thing to note is that Adaka Boro and Ken Saro-Wiwa were all used by the Nigerian Government to fight their people, they worked very hard for the Government but what happened at last? Even Nnamdi Azikiwe, who believed so much in Nigeria, what happened to him? Find out. Chief Chukwuemeka Odumuegwu Ojukwu was against the Government and the injustice in Nigeria, you know what happened to him as well, he died an honourable man and was given a state burial with his name immortalised, his name is written in the hearts of the people. God is always the wisest because his words said those who wish to save their lives will loose it and those who wish to loose their lives will save it so continue to be a sycophant to the Fulani herdsmen.
Where is Ifeajuana and his family today? Thieves who are reaping where they did not sow,

4. The name Niger Delta is a divide and rule system used by the British and subsequently applied by the Fulani ruling class to further enslave us. They make you believe that your brother is your enemy so you will always see reasons to engage your brother in a fight making it easier for them to plunder your land. They asked you to keep watch over the pipe lines that transporting your wealth to their land and they offer you peanuts.

5. The next thing I want to tell you is, it does not matter the level at which you betray your people to please the Fulanis, then when it is time and you are done and dusted.

Therefore, I want to advise you now to leave these boys who do not want to continue in slavery anymore; they have known the truth and how they are living off their misery. They have realised that you care less about them, They have realised that not fighting for freedom is worth dying for nothing. Do not discourage these young men who know that they should not beg for what belongs to them. Now is the time to take back our land.
