The banning of Christians from preaching in Kaduna, Only a part of Buhari's Islamisation agenda in Nigeria

Governor El-Rufai like President Buhari are alleged to be well known Islamist fundamentalist, will use these new laws to minimise the growth of Christianity sending some Pastors to Prison and in effect driving Pastors, Evangelists away from the state and ensuring the dominance of the Islamic faith.
In 2003, President Buhari was alleged to have boasted that it is Allah’s will for him to ensure that Islam is spreed to all corners of Nigeria. As it stands now, Hope For Nigeria is sure that the opportunity to Islamize Nigeria have presented itself as Buhari is now the Nigerians President and Mallam El-Rufai, a renowned hate preacher is a governor of kaduna state in Nigeria.

As it is a normal practice in Nigeria, if governmentts want to destroy Christians with laws, they will draft it by mentioning Islam as a cover or to deceive the people.

In line with the Islamisation agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari’s in Nigeria, the Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai have issued laws that will control and in effect ban church worshiping and evangelisation in Kaduna state.
Now In Kaduna you cannot preach without license else you will be jailed

- Every preacher will have to go and get ONLY one year license (renewable every year). That is, you must always preach without an expired license or you risk 2 years imprisonment.

- If you invite any external preacher (i.e. preacher outside Kaduna state), such a person must be licensed for the duration of his/her stay and the body issuing the license has the right to reject external preacher they feel is not qualify to preach in Kaduna state.

- Every preacher who want to be licensed will appear before a screening committee. If he/she scales through, he/she will only be given licensed for one year.

- The law criminalizes the use of CDS, Flash Drive and other communication gadgets except in religious building or inside your house.

- That means, you will be arrested for listening to preaching or religious music inside your cars or in any open place except in your house or religious building.

- If you preach without license, you are guilty of offense punishable with 2 years imprisonment or a fine of 200,000.

- You can’t use microphone in your church after 8pm you are guilty of offense punishable with 2 years’ imprisonment or a fine of 200,000.

- Since all preaching must be done within a building, it means public evangelism will be criminalized. Those who preach early morning, known by some as morning cry and preaching inside bus if arrested will be fined N200,000.

- This could also means, people will not be allowed to go out for evangelism on streets or move with vehicles with address systems to advertise their programs.

About 9 states in Nigeria assumed the status of Islamic state in a secular country and governed by Islamic law and in most cases, Christians are tried in these courts.

  7. I have been waiting for our Information minister to talk on Ese's abduction and islamisation, till now nothing was said, among other islamisation ( by forced marriage) allegations hanging on this APC and PMB's government. Who knows if Mr, Lai Mohammed will clear the air on this Kaduna state islamisation saga. But if it is true as alleged, let's see how it will play out.

  8. Haha! Why do people deliberately distort information just to cause religious problems in Nigeria. How can someone mentioned what is not and others will just follow without finding details before taking side and abuses began to follow? The law and policies of govt in kaduna concerning preaching in the public was tame the religious uprising among the various groups so for someone to write it was aim at Christians is logically bad. Pls my brother and sister, don't allow sycophants to deceive you into taking side. See things yourself. Happy Sunday.

  11. If what you are saying is right, then I see nothing wrong with it. Actually, if the regulations are the same for both the muslims and Christians, then what's bad about it. I think there should be some level of orderliness even in the whole country. By the way, I am a Christian and when possible we should always stand for truth in all things.

  20. It is unfortunate DT this kind if blasphemy could b spread so easily by this cheap Biafra group. It was first spread on Facebook by one of my very good colleague, Barrister Kyon who said its a bill now yet to b passed by d Kaduna State House of Assembly. As I was just confused what to believe, my landlord for ages now Alhaji Ahmed Bin Lauwal who is an Accountant brought d original and amended laws of Kaduna State which were promulgated more than 20 years ago. Ironically, d law was signed by military administrators into law and it affects all kind of religions and preachers be it Islam, Christianity, etc. And d essence is to sanitize religious practice especially to avoid non inciting messages to adherents to ensure peace always just like part C of d companies and allied matters Act regulates formation of such groups. Please endeavor to get copies from Kaduna State Laws before following d ignoramus and baseless blasphemy of this Biafra inyamiri ibo ipob or massob mouth diarrhoea. Nice week ahead.

  21. You don't have concrete criticism, you only embark on rumour and blackmail. The regulatory of public is to all religious belief. If someone contemplate someone can deny any religious believe to exist in Nigeria in this decade is no serious person. Infact most of these rumour pedlar's are not religious.

This is not the first time that we are hearing of a government fighting against the true God you may recall what happen in the days of Daniel or even the three Hebrew children you can mention more and more so either Buhari or El rufai or any group of persons can not withstand the powerful hand of God if they wish they can continue.

If this is true, the christian are now made to be more closser to God in this fight becouse nobody have solution to the success of it, in reality if they are doing that with a nagetive intension , that means they are close to thier grave. The only thing is for the christians to faithfully present and handover the issue to God in prayers and fasting in good faith and clean heart. He will answer and change things to our favour in Jesus name.

  32. This is mere propaganda.
The ban will be on every form of preaching without licence. Whether Muslims or Christians. This is as a result of religious extremism by some bigots. It is not against Christians alone and Buhari or the North has no agenda of islamizing Nigeria.
Do you even realize that the number of Christians in the North especially Kaduna state is almost the same with the Muslims. Igbos are not the only Christians in Nigeria.
After All the chief Iman in Umuahia Abia state capital is an Igbo man.
    Stop spreading rumors.
