No fewer than 200 persons have been killed and houses razed following an attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Akwu village, Agatu LGA of Benue State.
The gunmen proceeded to neighbouring Ayila village, a Benue-based Journalist, Yemi Itodo, revealed.
Itodo further stated that the military and security personnel were nowhere to be found amidst the heavy heavy gunshots.
He also disclosed that from a distance, an Helicopter could be sighted hovering in the air, Daily Post reports.
