Nigeria Media Submerged In Shame As IPOB Sustains “No Election” Campaign

A few days ago, all the evil agents of the Nigeria government were released like a virus. This outbreak was a clear case of fake news championed by zoo media. These cash-and-carry journalists reportedly said that IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has called off “No referendum No Election” Campaign started months back as one of the Biafra restoration processes.

Recall that about two days ago a meeting was held by a non-governmental organisation, the Ala-Igbo International Foundation in Owerri, the Imo State capital where Nnamdi Kanu was invited.

In that meeting, the group pleaded with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to reconsider his stand in Anambra election boycott but Kanu told the said group that the decision to boycott Anambra election was made by IPOB Leadership and he would go back and deliver their message.

It was unfortunate and ridiculous that the Nigerian Media took it up from there and misquoted Kanu. According to zoo media, they said: “Leader of the foundation, Professor Uzodinma Nwala, says after much deliberations which they say is still ongoing, IPOB has assured the Igbo leaders that it won’t disrupt the November 18 governorship election in Anambra”

What fake news Lagos-Ibadan gutter-media hasn't carried to bring IPOB down? They utilise any single opportunity to misquote IPOB. They created faceless groups here and there, all in a bid to quench IPOB fire? IPOB scares fake news Nigeria Media and her patronisers like the horror movie.

To set the record straight, Nnamdi Kanu has been consistent and uncompromising. He (Kanu) made it clear on the 20th of August, 2017 at Ekwulobia rally that IPOB must boycott Anambra gubernatorial election coming up on the 18th November, 2017, if Federal Government of Nigeria fails to give a date for Biafra referendum.

As it stands now, Nigeria has two choices: one - give a date for Biafra referendum and go on with their elections or two - face the political instability and civil disobedience that shall arise from the election boycott.

The truth is that after the successful IPOB  boycott of the upcoming Anambra election, every other part of Biafraland and beyond will follow suit. It is better to nip it in the bud by organising a day in which Biafra and Nigeria will test their popularity with ballot papers.

Anambra politicians are also troubled by the way IPOB is conducting itself without external inducement. They can send Ala-Igbo whatever, they will fail. Biafra is not an Igbo thing, rather, Biafra is a nation with many clans but one value system. Therefore, bringing non-governmental organisations to talk to Kanu is waste of time.

“No referendum, No Election” remain intact and IPOB is not ready to shift ground unless proven otherwise by its leadership. Until then, it's No referendum, no election and no referendum no election. There is no substitute.
